Cheat Engine is an open source tool that uses memory scanning in order to allow people to easily find and change values, debug games or inspect processes closer. To my knowledge, CE has been around for at least 10 years and has become the most popular tool of its kind. My question is: How to use CE with RPG Maker VX games in RPG Maker 2003 games i can easy search for values and edit them, but in the VX version i cant find any value I try to edit Gold in the game 'Legionwood: Tale of the Two Swords' i search the gold value, change it, search again and again, and at the end i have 0 values. Thanks a lot for anyone who could help me. The best way to cheat in this game would be to edit script.rpyc That thread was talking about some other game made using RenPY. Anyway, Princess Trainer doesn't have any.rpyc files readily available for us to modify. Modded versions may not contain all cheat options. Keep the stats below 1,000 when modifying them, they can cause the game to crash if they get too high. Also avoid changing the time of day while at school as it can cause a time loop that keeps you at school and the time of day stuck at Afternoon. To fix just changed the time of day to morning.

This is a short guide instructing the method to enable developer console. It allows you to apply cheat codes, ipatch and other stuffs.
First of all, run your Ren’Py game and press Shift+O (It is an O, not zero).
Not working? Alright, that means developer console is disabled for that game.
Enabling the Developer Console of Ren’py Games:Step 1: Download This File
Or, Create a text document called options.rpy and paste below code there and Save.
init -1:
python hide:
config.developer = True
Second line needs 4 spaces before python hide:
Third line needs 8 spaces before config.developer = True*

Step 2: Now you have to place the code in a folder called game inside your Ren’py game. The path should look like this, yourgamename/game/options.rpy
(if options.rpy already exists, simply rename your options.rpy to whatever name you prefer.)
Enabling the Console Commands on Ren’py Games:Go to gamename/Renpy/Common/00console.rpy
Press Ctrl+F and enter config.console(Finding this term)
Set it’s variable to True
so it should look like,
config.console = True
Save the file.
Cheat In Renpy GamesNow the Shift+O should work.
